I have ordered every item on their menu and have been satisfied with every item. Pizza, pastas, the meats and seafood are all prepared in the traditional Italian customs. “ Not sure where to start with my review for this hidden gem in Toronto. My son was looking through Google to find an Italian restaurant near us and he picked out this place based on their ratings. What an amazing choice. For the first time in awhile I had nothing to complain about and every single item we ordered was WOW. The bread is so fresh crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. We ordered a margarita pizza to share, gnocchi, linguini shrimp Alfredo, pasta with blush sauce, shrimp and mushroom, and pasta with seafood. Everything was beyond delicious and the service was amazing as well. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to all our friends. Hats off to the chef and kitchen staff as well. ”

We turned the order selection over to the kitchen. The portions were more generous than expected, but the quality encouraged us to indulge. ”

“ Ate lunch on the lovely back patio after a morning in the museum. There was a decent crowd on a Thursday after the usual lunch time. We were there around 130 or so. The waiter was very nice and accommodating. We split three courses. To start we had the melon and prosciutto. It was tasty. We definitely struggled a bit to cut up the melon and the meat with a butter knife. But we made do. The second course was an arugula salad. It was certainly the highlight of the meal for me. It was topped with a good amount of shaved parmesan of pretty decent quality. The dressing was well prepared and balanced the peppery notes from the greens and the sweetness of the fruit. The third course was a pizza. This needed to be eaten Italian style with a knife and fork. As you can see from the photos they were very generous with the toppings. All in all it was a good meal. ”

“ We had a pleasant pre-theatre dinner at Fieramosca Trattoria in Yorkville. The service was warm and attentive throughout the evening, and it was especially nice to see several South Asian staff among the FOH servers and bar team — a refreshing touch in a classic spot. I really enjoyed the orata (sea bream) — beautifully cooked with perfect texture, definitely worth the $46. My husband had the mixed seafood pasta special (huge portion, can’t remember the price) and really enjoyed it, along with the burrata appetizer special. The calamari appetizer was light and not greasy — a nice start. The melon and prosciutto, though, was underwhelming. The melon came in large chunks, which felt a bit clumsy — it would have been better more carefully sliced for both taste and presentation. Nice fresh bread and spreadable butter. The overcooked side vegetables were also forgettable, as the various tastes and textures (beets, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, etc.) clashed with the fish, and didn’t match the quality of the mains. Overall presentation could use some refinement. Still, it’s a solid Yorkville option for classic Italian fish and seafood dishes with good service. We’d return for the orata and seafood specials. ”

Pasta was too hard (undercooked), risotto too soft (overcooked). Also be aware - even though it’s a relatively hip neighborhood, the crowd was was rather “old” ”
